The Nyarntiny Collection represents a tribute to the majestic gum trees surrounding my grandparents' property. Each piece in the collection reflects significant emotions and memories of family, nature, and the beauty of life’s different stages.
These original artworks invite us to reflect on our own life’s pathways and cherished moments.
The Garra-Goon Collection, on the other hand, honours the transformative power of the ocean and my connection to Bardi Saltwater heritage, offering vibrant pieces full of motion and vitality.
The Joogooloo Collection was born from one of the hardest seasons of my life, this collection is a reflection of feeling broken, rebuilding, and finding healing through art.
Joogooloo, meaning “broken” in Bardi my grandfather’s language, is inspired by the resilience of the Australian outback and the reminder that, like Country, we can weather life’s hardest seasons and emerge stronger.

Series Description
Joogooloo Collection
There was a time when my life felt like it had fallen into pieces. After the birth of our youngest son, while preparing for our wedding and navigating the beautiful yet overwhelming reality of motherhood, I found myself emotionally unravelled, exhausted, and searching for the person I once was. During that season, painting became my refuge - a way to express what words couldn’t.
The Joogooloo Collection, meaning “broken” in my grandfather’s Bardi language, was born from that experience. Inspired by the rugged, sunburnt Australian outback that I had admired for years from 10,000 feet as a flight attendant, these works reflect the connection between the resilience of Country and our own ability to heal. The fractured forms symbolise both brokenness and rebuilding, while each colour palette represents an emotion that carried me through.
‘Joogooloo’ is a deeply personal collection that reminds us that even in our most difficult seasons, there is strength in vulnerability, beauty in healing, and hope in beginning again.
SERIES DESCRIPTION
Garra-Goon Collection
The Garra-Goon Collection is a tribute to the sea – it’s captivating beauty, its unpredictable nature, and its powerful might. Reflecting on my upbringing, the vibrant hues mirror those found along the Victorian coastline while also honouring my grandfather’s heritage and our people – the Saltwater People of Bardi Country. The wave-like motion embedded within these pieces further honour the transformative essence of the ocean.
This collection holds special significance to my young family. Created during the final stages of my second pregnancy, I continued painting until just hours before my son Reef was born. Witnessing Reef and my daughter Salty embrace their inherited love for the ocean, is truly precious.
Series Description
Nyarntiny Collection
Nyarntiny, my inaugural series, was inspired by the glorious gumtrees that surround my grandparent’s property. Each piece within Nyarntiny represents a different, yet equally meaningful condition, place or site. Painting these evoked many emotions and unlocked fond memories; From planning and draft sketches to every dot, stroke and spray, I was reminded of my beautiful grandparents and the cherished times we shared. Similarly, I hope these works help you to reflect and reminisce on the special moments and individuals in your life, and all that you treasure.
